Who We Are

A waypoint is a non-movable object in which people use to guide their journey.

For example, as the pioneers traveled westward towards California they used such Waypoints as Chimney Rock, Castle Rock, and Devil's Gate as markers to guide their journey. In the Old Testament every time something spiritually significant happened in Abraham's life he stopped and built an altar, a Waypoint if you will. Everyone of us is on a journey throughout life. With every decision we make, whether it is spiritual or not, we create a Waypoint in our life. These Waypoints determine the direction and the path of our lives. Our goal is to help people discover personal Waypoints to guide them to God and then Waypoints along their journey with God.

Our Vision

Charting a Course Through Life Together...

In 2003 a group of us had a dream, to experience church the in a real and biblical way.  A church that was fun, open, honest, real, a church the Jesus Himself would like to attend.  A church that loved people just as there are.  A church that accepted people and invited them to belong without requiring them to change first.  A church that encourage and empowered each other to become all that God created them to become.  A church that turned to the scriptures, wrestled honestly with their implications, and then did our very best to live by them.  A church that committed themselves to each other through thick and thin.  A church that served those outside of our community.  These are our dreams and this is our attempt.

Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
— Jesus, Matthew 28:18-20
